Rob:
After studying Fine Art at Luton School of Art, specialising in woodcarving and sculpture, Rob moved into the world of industry via costume jewellery manufacture. After a varied commercial career, he broke free in 1993 in order to build a new career in the visual arts, including photography, sculpture and more recently digital art also. He works closely with other artists, particularly one local sculptor. A few years ago he took up the fascinating discipline of lifecasting, perhaps more widely known as bodycasting.
Lifecasts, being a form of sculpture moulded directly from the human body and thus preserving every intimate detail of form and texture, have a unique and rather magical quality that has to be experienced to be fully appreciated.

NB: We occasionally need new models to pose for sculptures and bodycastings. If you would be interested in trying one or the other of these, please phone or email.
